Whole-Home Rewiring in Maplewood
The houses near the center of Maplewood predate the parkway subdivisions, and some still run wiring from before 1960: knob-and-tube with no ground, cloth insulation gone brittle, two-prong outlets throughout. New grounded outlets, AFCI and GFCI protection where code calls for it, and a panel that can actually carry the house. Where a full rewire isn’t yet warranted, approved aluminum-to-copper connectors at the devices buy real safety in the meantime.
