Outlets & Switches in Lakeside
Run an extension cord across a south-shore cottage and you have already found the problem: not enough outlets, and the ones that exist are two-prong and ungrounded. These places were wired for a lamp and a radio, not a kitchen counter full of appliances. Grounded, GFCI’d, and Side-Wired
We add new receptacles on circuits that can carry them, replace ungrounded two-prong outlets the right way (a real ground, not a three-prong swap that fools the plug and nothing else), and put GFCI protection where code wants it: kitchens, baths, garages, and anything outdoors near the water. We side-wire every device on the screw terminals rather than the push-in backstab holes that loosen, arc, and scorch a receptacle over time. Switches, dimmers, and USB outlets get the same care. We pull the permit where the work requires it.
