Electrical Inspection in Fairview
Some inspections happen because a farmhouse is changing hands and the buyer wants to know what eight decades of wiring actually left in the walls. Some happen because an outlet ran warm and the homeowner would rather check the whole house than wait for the next one. All of them get the same look from us.
We go through the system end to end: the panel and its breakers, grounding and bonding, neutral and ground separation, the presence of GFCI and AFCI protection where code now requires it, and a sampling of outlets and connections. In Fairview we know the patterns by heart. The farmhouses turn up knob-and-tube and ungrounded outlets; the mid-century homes near the school turn up maxed panels and the occasional brand later found unsafe; the 1970s additions turn up aluminum branch wiring.
You get a written report ranked by urgency: fix now, plan for soon, fine as is. Plenty of Fairview reports come back mostly clean, and we’re glad to write that one. What it flags routes naturally into a panel upgrade or whole-home rewiring. More is on our electrical inspection page, with everything local at Fairview.
