Electrical Inspection in Cedar Grove
Cedar Grove’s housing stock makes inspections worth doing. A buyer looking at a farmhouse on Cedar Creek Road needs to know whether the wiring behind the plaster is knob-and-tube, whether the panel is the recalled brand from the 1970s, and whether that finished basement out on the newer acreage was wired by an electrician or a weekend. None of that shows on a walk-through, and all of it changes what the house is worth.
Summit Electric inspects the whole system: the panel and its grounding, the breakers and their sizing, a representative sample of outlets and switches, GFCI and AFCI coverage where code requires it, and the visible wiring in the attic, basement, and crawlspace. The report comes back with photos and a plain verdict on each item, sound or needs attention, with a price beside the fixes.
What we flag often routes into wiring repair or a panel upgrade. What the inspection covers is on our electrical inspection page, with the rest on the Cedar Grove page.
